We have had an inspiring day at Le Mont St Michel today. We walked to the very top to the abbey where we learned about William the Conqueror and his half brother, Bishop Odo.

A wonderful picnic lunch in the sunshine set us up for an afternoon of sketching watercolour painting as well as buying some souvenir biscuits. We hope to create a virtual gallery of the artwork from the visit on our return.

This evening we all enjoyed a BBQ outside in the evening sun before playing mixed school team boules on the lawns.

What a memorable day! So many compliments from passers-by.

We have another packed day tomorrow with lots to look forward to!
