Our arrival in Bayeux has taken us to marvel at the spectacular Bayeux Tapestry. We enjoyed listening on handsets to some gruesome details about the story of Harold and William at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.

Everyone was ready for lunch and we have been well-catered for at a beautiful French restaurant, just next to the cathedral. A tasty lunch of chicken and rice, followed by apple tart kept us all happy!
