​The final day of the Festival of Hope Sports Events on Friday 7th July was held at Tavistock College with a wonderful day of athletics.

Schools participating included Highampton, Exbourne, Northlew, Okehampton Primary School Boasley Cross Primary Schools, Tavistock College and Holsworthy Community College.

For the children from our primary schools this was an exciting opportunity to have fun and enjoy athletics in the impressive facilities at Tavistock College and enjoy engaging with older students.

• Tavistock College PE department and specifically to Tavistock College’s level 3 BTEC sports students and leaders, who organised and ran the event in its entirety!
• Tristan Forster who warmly welcomed everyone to the College, coordinated buses, numbers, children, events etc. on the day!
