Our final visit of our Normandy tour brought us to St Mere Eglise, where children enjoyed the experiences within the Airborne Museum.

Just opposite, is the famous church where a model of the parachutist John Steele hangs from the bell tower.

The chimes of the bell echoed out across the beautiful tree-lined square, calling residents to a service, as the groups of children explored the French shops.
