Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust and Tavistock College are proud to announce that 78% of students who recently took a LAMDA qualification achieved the top grade of Distinction. The graded examinations, ranging from Entry Level to Grade 8 Gold Medal, were taken in Public Speaking, Acting, Mime, and Speaking of Verse and Prose.

For some students, this exam marked the beginning of their LAMDA journey, while others sat for their final exam. Mrs McCarty, the LAMDA teacher, was thrilled with the results, which reflect the hard work of the students and the continuation of the college’s 100% pass rate for LAMDA exams.

Mrs McCarty also noted that the older students were delighted to congratulate the younger students on their success, and the younger students spoke of the inspiration gained from their elders, demonstrating a genuine sense of solidarity and community.
