On Tuesday 247th September, our year 6 children from Northlew and Boasley Cross Primary took part in a Junior Life Skills workshop morning. The workshops gave them the opportunity to find out information about a variety of different life skills and carry out some practical activities to really get the children thinking about a particular aspect. We visited stalls from the lifeguards, keeping ourselves safe on Dartmoor, recycling, spotting dangers with electricity as well as a video shared from the police about how to keep yourself safe when using the internet. As always, the children conducted themselves beautifully and asked some fantastic questions as we moved around the different activities. A huge well done to all our year 6 children! We hope the morning will help support them to understand the various dangers involved and how they can be proactive in keeping themselves safe.
We hope you enjoy these photos showing children from Northlew and Boasley Primary Schools.
